Every Mila Baby piece starts with one question: what would we want against our own baby's skin? The answer, every time, is bamboo.
Why bamboo?
Our signature fabric is a blend of 95% bamboo viscose and 5% spandex — impossibly soft, naturally breathable, and gentle enough for the most sensitive newborn skin.
Buttery soft, and it stays that way
Bamboo viscose has a silky, fluid drape that cotton can't match. It's soft on day one and stays soft wash after wash — no pilling, no stiffness, no scratchy seams.
Breathable & temperature regulating
Bamboo is naturally thermo-regulating: it wicks moisture and breathes with your baby, helping them stay comfortable through the night — cooler in summer, cozier in winter. Better sleep for baby usually means better sleep for you, too.
Gentle on sensitive skin
Naturally hypoallergenic and smooth-fibered, bamboo is a favourite for babies with eczema or easily irritated skin. No harsh chemicals, nothing that doesn't need to be there.
Room to move
A touch of spandex gives every piece four-way stretch, so kicks, wiggles, and midnight stretches never feel restricted — and diaper changes stay easy.
OEKO-TEX® Certified — tested for peace of mind
Every Mila Baby piece is made from fabric certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Product Class I — the strictest tier of one of the world's most trusted textile safety certifications, reserved specifically for products made for babies and toddlers.
What that actually means: every component of the fabric — from the fibres to the threads to the dyes — has been independently tested for over 1,000 harmful substances, including chemicals known to cause skin irritation, endocrine disruption, and long-term health concerns.
In plain terms: if it touches your baby's skin, it's been vetted for it.

- Machine wash cold with like colours
- Tumble dry low
- Do not bleach
- Skip the fabric softener — bamboo doesn't need it
